A real need. A considered solution.
Challenge
Parenting apps end up as either a dry tracker or a repository of expert advice; neither fits into a tired parent’s day. The client wanted a subscription iOS app that brings content, rituals and a journal into one flow for families with more than one child.
Approach
The content library is structured data: age-appropriate activities, common problems, confidence-building conversation scripts, rituals, games and inspiration for parents and kids. The household model holds multiple children and the active child switches in one tap. Daily check-ins, moments and journal entries become the assistant’s context; the assistant chat goes to OpenAI through a Cloud Function, so no key lives on the device. Subscriptions run on Adapty, attribution on AppsFlyer and the Meta SDK; sign-up and sign-in use Apple and Google accounts.
Result
Source code and the App Store release were delivered to the client in May 2026. Assistant, journal and reminders sit in one flow; saved activities, problems, rituals and inspiration cards are kept in per-user collections.
