A real need. A considered solution.
Challenge
The liturgical calendar changes each day’s readings, prayers and saint. A static content list cannot express that, and the user ends up working out what to read today for themselves.
Approach
The liturgical calendar and lectionary sit at the centre of the data model, so the app derives the right reading each day by itself. The daily office, Bible reader and audio share one flow, and Live Activities plus a home-screen widget surface prayer time without unlocking the phone.
Result
Daily office, Bible, saints, church fathers, lectio divina, pilgrimage mode, fasting and tithe tools, reading groups and a spiritual-director chat in one app.
