01 / Behind the product
A real need. A considered solution.
Challenge
On classic listing sites the buyer sifts through hundreds of listings one by one; for big purchases like property and vehicles that becomes days of scanning. Inverting the flow creates a new problem: user-written requests define listing quality, and prohibited content can go live.
Approach
The buyer posts a request describing what they want and sellers bid on it; requests and offers are separate objects, so the negotiation history stays in one place. Content checks run in two stages: a local banned-word filter first, then a model check through an API route, and a network failure never blocks the user. The same route rewrites titles and descriptions for SEO. Sign-up is phone-verified, boosting uses tokens; favourites, messages, notifications and the admin panel run on Firebase. KVKK, cookie and membership agreement pages are in place, with Playwright end-to-end tests.
Result
arayandan.app is live. Property and vehicle requests, offer management and an admin panel were delivered with the web platform, alongside a separate mobile app.

Systems we built and concrete problems we addressed in this project.
Two-stage content checks
content-checker.ts runs a fast local banned-word check first, then asks the model through the api/ai/check route (no CORS issue). On a network error content passes; the user is never blocked by an infrastructure fault.
SEO improvement from the same route
api/ai/improve rewrites request titles and descriptions for search; request pages live under ilanlar/[id] with static metadata, and components/seo produces the structured data.
End to end with Playwright
tests/e2e.spec.ts runs sign-up, phone verification, request creation and messaging in the browser, with results under test-results. Legal pages (KVKK, cookies, membership agreement, FAQ) sit in the (legal) group.
